Resale Certificates


We hate to see you go!! Thanks for being a good neighbor of ours here at Wellington Greens. There's one more thing that you need to do for the association, and that's request a "Resale Certificate."


Resale Certificates are used by Wellington Greens and realtors as part of the transition process for properties as they're sold and purchased. Property owners or (by proxy) their Realtor are required to apply for a Resale Certificate prior to the sale of their property.


The resale certificate and its' fee must be returned to the Wellington Greens treasurer within 10 days of the scheduled sale of your property.


Here's the general process for resale certificates.

  1. Establish a closing date for your property sale.
  2. Download the Resale Certificate request using the button on this page.
  3. Fill in the document and send to us at resale@wellingtongreens.org.
  4. Send the resale certificate fee to the address on the downloaded document (or our address at the bottom of this page).
  5. We will return the resale certificate to you or your realtor as requested.
